Role Purpose:
– A Graphic Designer communicates ideas and information through visuals concepts.

– The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and specifying design parameters to assist in creative requirements.

Role Details – Key Responsibilities 
 

Graphic Design

  • Conceptualise, design, and produce promotional materials to provide the department with necessary visual communications requirements for materials they need to produce.
  • Develop graphic design in order to integrate it onto the various advertising mediums.
  • Develop concepts, graphics, and layouts for product illustrations.
  • Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size.
  • Identify the best ways to illustrate and communicate our vision while complying with design best practices.

Design Guidelines

  • Fully understanding of Our Design Corporate Guidelines.
  • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetics.
  • Take full accountability in adhering to artwork specifications as per suppliers’ guidelines.
  • Meet and match requirements with the dateline.
  • Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Human Capital Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work.
  • Apply and follow MAFR’s Human Capital corporate policies and relevant procedures and instructions.
  • Provide training and feedback to direct reports when required.

    Definition of Success

  • Quality and timeliness of design output.
  • Design finalization within the time frame and budget.
  • Compliance with all relevant design guidelines.

    Functional/Technical Competenciesd Accountabilities:

  • Fully understanding 2D design concepts and fundamentals and color palette and typography.
  • Interested in 3D design concepts and having a sense of space.
  • Profession skill in all applications of design 2D programs (illustrator, photoshop and InDesign).
  • Having Aware of apple(mac) technology.
  • interested in and 3D applications.

    Qualification, Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum Qualifications/education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts or closely related field
  • Minimum experience

  • 5+ years’ experience as a graphic designer
  • Skills

  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking skills
  • Good time management skills is a must.
  • Good problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail is a must.
