CSB’s Grant Writer’s primary responsibility will be to secure funding from donors by identifying and targeting suitable grant opportunities. Your exceptional writing and communication skills, combined with your ability to conduct thorough research, will be crucial in crafting compelling grant proposals that effectively convey our mission and generate financial support.</span></p><p><strong>Grant Research and Identification:</strong></p><ul><li><span>Conduct in-depth research to identify grant opportunities that align with CSB’s objectives and values.</span></li><li><span>Stay updated on current funding trends, government initiatives, and philanthropic opportunities relevant to our organization’s mission.</span></li><li><span>Evaluate and prioritize potential funding sources based on eligibility criteria, application requirements, and alignment with our objectives.</span></li></ul><p><strong>Grant Proposal Development:</strong></p><ul><li><span>Collaborate with the management team to understand program needs, funding requirements, and organizational goals.</span></li><li><span>Develop clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals, ensuring alignment with the guidelines and preferences of each funding source.</span></li><li><span>Clearly articulate the impact and significance of CSB’s vision and mission, emphasizing the benefits to the community and underprivileged individuals.</span></li><li><span>Compile accurate and compelling data, statistics, and success stories to support grant proposals.</span></li><li><span>Ensure the inclusion of a comprehensive budget that aligns with the proposed activities and funding guidelines.</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Grant Application and Submission:</strong></p><ul><li><span>Prepare and submit grant applications in a timely manner, adhering to all specified guidelines and deadlines.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with relevant team members, such as school coordinator and finance personnel, to gather the necessary information for grant applications.</span></li><li><span>Monitor and track the progress of submitted grant applications, providing regular updates to the management team.</span></li><li><span>Address any additional information requests or follow-up queries from potential donors or funding agencies.&nbsp;</span></li></ul><p><strong>Donors’ Relations &amp; Reporting:</strong></p><ul><li><span>Compile needed reports for ongoing projects.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors, keeping them informed about the impact of their contributions.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with the communications team to acknowledge and recognize donors through personalized thank-you letters, reports, or other communication materials.</span></li><li><span>Stay engaged with the philanthropic community, attending relevant events and networking opportunities to expand our donor network.</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., communications, nonprofit management, or business administration).</span></li><li><span>Proven experience in grant writing and securing funding from diverse sources.</span></li><li><span>Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify suitable grant opportunities.</span></li><li><span>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft persuasive and compelling narratives.</span></li><li><span>Proficiency in gathering and analyzing data to support grant proposals.</span></li><li><span>Familiarity with budget development and financial reporting related to grants.</span></li><li><span>Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.</span></li><li><span>Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners.</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of the nonprofit sector and funding landscape, particularly in the education or arts field, is preferred.</span></li><li><span>Proficiency in using grant research and management tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><span>If u meet the above criteria and would like to work at Creative Space Beirut, a social enterprise that believes in the importance of free education and fostering talent, please apply by sending an updated CV and cover letter outlining your motivation and suitability for this role to info@creativespacebeirut.com</span></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
