Job Description

Summary

Ensure Business operations and procedures comply with applicable regulations and policies.

Support the Head of GRC in delivering Governance and Compliance activities across Oxagon

Responsibilities

  • Implement OXAGON policies and regulations
  • Maintain a register of all applicable policies
  • Ensure policies are effectively communicated to all staff
  • Track compliance with declarations and training and escalate exceptions in a collaborative way
  • Monitor and report on progress of compliance action plans
  • Review and evaluate procedures to identify hidden risks or common issues
  • Facilitate periodic policy gap analysis to identify root-causes of non-compliance
  • Monitor the compliance landscape to pre-empt any new compliance regulations that OXAGON may be exposed to
  • Regularly communicate with the NEOM Compliance Department to ensure implementation plan is on schedule
  • Engage and develop effective working relationships to support stakeholders – ensure robust follow up of next steps with individual owners to ensure optimal risk management
  • Propose treatment strategies based on current risk exposure
  • Support and build a strong compliance and risk management culture across Oxagon
  • Coordinate with Internal Audit Department to address its observations
  • Lead employee training on Legal and Compliance issues and initiatives

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of governance, risk, or compliance experience
  • Educational background / degree with a focus on law, governance or compliance
  • Strategic and collaborative mindset with proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Able to communicate complex issues in an understandable way to management, executives and the Audit Committee and Board.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently in a continuously changing environment and meet tight deadlines where required
  • Experience using or implementing an enterprise-wide risk management software
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Strong project management & report writing skills
