The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>This Company is currently in search of an experienced and hands-on Electrical Engineer to join the Mechanical Services Shops Department/Planning and Technical Services Division. The selected candidate will specialize as a motor expert and should possess extensive knowledge and skills in performing high-level tasks related to coil manufacturing and rewinding. Prior experience in working with original equipment manufacturing facilities (OEM) such as ABB, Siemens, WEG, Alstom, and Westinghouse for motors is essential. Moreover, the ideal candidate must have a solid background in Mechanical/Electrical work, including troubleshooting, disassembly, reassembly, testing, and equipment modification of high voltage motors.</p> <p>The Mechanical Services Shops Department (MSSD) houses state-of-the-art workshops and facilities, driven by a highly skilled and experienced workforce. The department’s primary responsibility is to maintain This Company’s rotating and stationary equipment, playing a crucial role in supporting all field organizations by maintaining and repairing corporate equipment. Joining this team places the candidate at the heart of one of the most advanced energy companies globally, promising a rewarding and challenging role in a world-leading organization.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide consultation in all aspects of normal and emergency plant maintenance procedures and standards</li> <li>Provide technical support to electrical maintenance and machine shop daily operation</li> <li>Ability to perform a stator rewind, testing, and vibration analysis for high voltage electric motor</li> <li>Support installation, maintenance, and repair of electric motor and generator</li> <li>Troubleshoot, repair, modify existing equipment and Identify cost reductions &amp; process improvements</li> <li>Introduce the latest technology in repair methodology</li> <li>Ability to design engineering packages</li> <li>Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to junior engineers</li> <li>Participate in vendor/customer exchange meetings to address questions and concerns</li> <li>Participate in standards value engineering</li> <li>Assist in Corrective &amp; Preventative Action resolution</li> <li>Participate in internal or customer equipment drawing reviews</li> <li>Provide specialized engineering assistance to the repair units. This may be through the in-house MSSD engineering specialists or from elsewhere in This Company organization.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</strong></li> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a 7+ years’ hands-on experience in the electrical field as described in the position description.</li> <li>Experience with electrical equipment used in the refining, petrochemical, and gas processing industries.</li> <li>Experience in manufacturing with original high voltage electric motor equipment from facilities such as ABB, Siemens, WEG, Alstom, and Westinghouse for motor and generator.</li> <li>Excellent command of English reading and writing.</li></ul>
