They are specifically looking for candidates with expertise in additive manufacturing techniques and robotic laser technology. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of additive materials used for laser cladding to repair damaged parts related to rotating equipment. Additionally, proficiency in rotating equipment design, materials, operating functions, and international standards, along with knowledge of powder-based laser systems, is required.</p> <p>The Mechanical Services Shops Department (MSSD) boasts state-of-the-art workshops and facilities, driven by a skilled and experienced workforce. Its main responsibility revolves around maintaining This Company’s rotating and stationary equipment, playing a crucial role by providing support to all field organizations through the repair and maintenance of corporate equipment. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of one of the most advanced energy companies worldwide.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Determine laser cladding requirements and establish priorities for maintenance work.</li> <li>Analyze requests for HVOF coating and laser cladding in the area and recommend work that can be economically assigned to contractor organizations and develop scope of work.</li> <li>Develop and review machining schedules in detail; verify initial estimates for labor, material, tools, equipment, and shop work.</li> <li>Review and verify the adequacy of estimated project costs prior to and during work progress.</li> <li>Ensure completeness of scope of work, drawings, and list of materials.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</strong></li> <li>Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Material Engineering with 10+ years’ hands-on experience.</li> <li>Practical knowledge and experience in laser cladding and welding.</li> <li>Good knowledge of rotating equipment design, materials, operating function, and international standards.</li> <li>Good knowledge of powder-based laser systems.</li> <li>Excellent command of English reading and writing.</li></ul>
