<strong>A Snapshot of your day:</strong><p><br></p>The Installation & Commissioning Manager (ICM) strategic role is to coordinate the Installation & Commissioning phase of the complete project scope of supply, from Project Handover until Project Execution Closure.<p><br></p>During these project phases, this person would lead the installation and commissioning activities for the project in such way that it leads to customer satisfaction and fulfillment of the goals set out by contract, budget, directives and commitments.<p><br></p><strong>How You’ll Make An Impact</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>You are assigned to several projects in Qatar and in this role, you support the Global Project Manager in leading the negotiations of the local booked Installation & Commissioning (I&C) contract.</li><li>For the offshore projects, you monitor and follow up all activities carried out in the construction yards (China, Korea, etc.) by which you safeguard the correct understanding of the status when the equipment arrives in Qatar.</li><li>You monitor the (I&C) budget, assess deviations from the contractual scope of supply and performance. Follow up and forecast time and cost according to plan.</li><li>As joined effort with the ICW team, you create and maintain the I&C schedule.</li><li>Based on the I&C schedule, you forecast, plan and reserve Field service Resources (internal/external (vendors)) to support the Installation and Commissioning scheduled activities. You continuously communicate this with the Resource providing locations and vendors.</li><li>You support in acquiring all local required documents such as Visa’s, Work-permits, Sea passports, etc.</li><li>You safeguard the compliance with the local applicable Environment protection, Health management, and Safety (EHS) procedures as covered under the scope of supply.</li><li>After the equipment arrived in Qatar, you inspect the correct receipt and acceptance of package / parts / reporting deficiency / short shipment. If and when required supports delivery of replacement parts.</li><li>As part of the (Global) project team, you regularly provide I&C status reports to the Global Project Manager, Project team and regional team.</li><li>You coordinate and lead the I&C Weekly progress meetings with the involved Project Teams and Daily with the Site teams.</li><li>You build up (lead) a strong corporation with all involved product entities across the world, to safeguard their full support during the I&C phase of the project.</li><li>You are responsible for the correct preparations and coordination of all site activities required to meet the commitments for site acceptance testing to reach PAC</li><li>You assist during the Site Performance Guarantee Testing and for getting the PAC signed and punch list actions carried out.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>What You Bring / Skills, Capabilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, (or foreign degree equivalent) with between 6 to 8 years track record of Site Supervisory Management in the Oil & Gas Industry in a similar position, where Installation & Commissioning as well onshore as Offshore of “Rotating Equipment” has been the focal point.</li><li>Knowledge with Compression installations such as Control Systems, Anti surge systems, Anti pulsation systems, Seal-gas systems, lube oil systems and different driver types like Steam Turbines, Gas Turbine, E-Motor and VFD systems.</li><li>Proven leadership skills with decision-making abilities as related to maintaining and completing the I&C activities with Time, Material and Budget.</li><li>Proven Strong Team player skills with Cross regional teams involved.</li><li>Experience in negotiating Installation & Commissioning Terms and Conditions within contracts.</li><li>Experienced with Risk and opportunity management.</li><li>Verbal and written communication in English, fluent in the local regional language (would be an advantage).<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Who is Siemens Energy? </strong><p><br></p>At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
