Main Accountabilities
The GL Accountant will work from the Beirut office and will provide support to the Finance Shared Service team in the General Ledger department, reporting to the Finance Manager MEA.Β In this role you will provide support to the senior accountants and assist on the accounting of more than 15 legal entities within MEA Region.
The role suits a candidate who has had a first experience in finance.
This is a very operational, hands-on role with the following accountabilities:
- Record journal entries on a timely basis and in accordance with our accounting guidelines
- Record the necessary accruals and interests on IC loans
- Perform vendor/customer balance reconciliations
- Perform bank account postings and reconciliations for our European subsidiaries.
- Monthly reconciliations of other balance sheet accounts
- Ensure all business policies and processors are followed in order to comply with internal controls, segregation of duties, delegation of authority.
- Assisting in audit process.
- Any ad hoc project or process request.
