Join our story and create your own impact by developing your expertise and building solutions that help make our lives safer, smarter and more sustainable.</strong><p><br></p>Join our Services_EMEA team within Services division in Qatar as FS engineer (pump &amp; compressor equipment) to help us take our field service business to the next level.<p><br></p>The position is responsible for the overhaul, repair, installation &amp; commissioning of pumps &amp; compressors to support our client base in Qatar. Preparing, coordinating and carrying out inspections and repairs of the rotating equipment at customer sites, within the specified time and at the estimated cost.<p><br></p><strong>In this role you will be accountable for:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Carrying out reparations and inspections inside and outside the country at customer sites.</li><li>Provision of safe and effective site and workshop overhaul, repair, installation and commissioning services for pumps and compressors.</li><li>Be the first point of contact for allocated customers in respect of any issues relating to agreed on-site scopes of work.</li><li>Develop strong relationships with key client contacts.</li><li>Be responsible for on-site Health &amp; Safety.</li><li>Compile on-site Risk Assessments for scopes of work.</li><li>Lead and supervise on-site repair teams during site contract execution.</li><li>Provide continuous improvement in repair, installation and commissioning activities.</li><li>Develop and maintain good and effective relationships with clients to optimise further service opportunities.</li><li>Liaise with technical departments within Sulzer to develop engineering solutions.</li><li>Manage relevant suppliers and subcontractors.</li><li>Compilation of comprehensive site reports in line with company quality management system .</li><li>Writing daily reports.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>To succeed in this role, you will need:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Relevant experience of minimum 10 years.</li><li>Specific experience of working on centrifugal pumps and compressors.</li><li>Knowledge and experience on working on API610 pumps and other rotating equipment.</li><li>Experience working in Oil &amp; Gas market.</li><li>Experience in the Middle East and an ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and data.</li><li>Excellent English proficiency.</li></ul><p><br></p>Location – Qatar.<p><br></p>We are looking forward to hearing from you!<p><br></p><strong>Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer, committed to the strength of a diverse workforce.</strong><p><br></p><strong>83% of our employees recommend Sulzer as a good place to work and we are proud to be recognized as a Top Employer 2023 in Brazil, China, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States.
