<p><strong>Job description </strong></p><p><br></p><p>Reporting to the Manager of the Department, the Pricing Coordinator’s primary responsibility will be to access market and carrier knowledge and the tools available within our organisation and the industry to develop, analyse, and implement pricing strategies to serve new, existing, and potential business opportunities on all modes.</p><p>Quoting our internal and external customers as well as our overseas offices and agents. The Pricing Coordinator will at the same time be working closely with all departments to ensure client retention as well as support our sales team to win new business to the satisfaction of clients and in accordance with the company’s pricing strategy for the profit of the company.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Receive, review, and analyse all incoming pricing requests to win business through accurate, effective, and timely submission. To ensure that customers’ requests are met with the optimum service levels and associated pricing.</li><li>Negotiate rates with carriers / hauliers / suppliers.</li><li>Confirm availability of equipment and agree prices where no tariff exists, to maximise cost-effectiveness.</li><li>Provide analytics support by way of quality data entry and maintaining the Quote Log for all quotations to review and contribute toward the ongoing processes.</li><li>Manage and follow up all quotes to obtain feedback to measure, analyse and circulate to the relevant teams, adjusting pricing where possible to ensure we secure opportunities.</li><li>Monitor won / loss quote ratio on a weekly basis and ensure that we maintain our profit and loss data to analyze.</li><li>Ensure that any quotes accepted comply strictly with our terms and conditions and accounting practices.</li><li>Handover of secured jobs to the relevant operations teams in a timely manner with all required information.</li><li>To produce strategic tariffs when required to ensure effective workload and to ensure these tariffs are kept up to date and relevant.</li><li>Seek new carriers/routings that bring value to both company and its customers.</li><li>Take financial responsibility for both costs and revenue. Set up to improve profit margins through more strategic pricing.</li><li>Coordinate with the Procurement Team regarding pricing changes, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Monitor carrier websites and notifications.</li><li>Provide appropriate and timely information to other departments.</li><li>Investigate pricing discrepancies and obtain rectification in a timely manner to prevent further issues.</li><li>Develop and build relationships and provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers.</li><li>Maintain a high level of awareness of market fluctuations in rates and charges.</li><li>Identifying market trends, potential, and customers’ needs.</li><li>Demonstrate flexibility and team skills within the department to ensure consistent and uninterrupted service to the customers.</li><li>Maintain mailboxes under your control.</li><li>Ensure that you comply with company policies and operate within all agreed operational procedures, and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key requirements:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Industry and operational knowledge of Airfreight / Sea freight / Road freight- inbound, outbound, and cross trade</li><li>Well-organized with the ability to work closely as a team and with other internal departments</li><li>Ensure good time management</li><li>Able to cope and accustomed to working under pressure to meet fixed deadlines</li><li>Good analytical skills</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Being able to work independently and as part of a team</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Basic Benefits: </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Profit share.</li><li>Private Medical / Life Insurance.</li><li>Partial Family member’s private medical insurance.</li><li>Social Insurance.</li><li>Negotiable Salary. </li></ul><p><br></p><p>Please visit our website: www.arkbl.com</p><p><br></p><p>* This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career path! by Joining our team!*</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
