Your day to day
JOB SCOPE:
Under the direction of the F&B Supervisor, serve food in accordance with hotel policies and procedures and local hotel standards.
RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to the F&B Supervisors Interacts and cooperate with Kitchen staff, F&B Colleagues and Stewarding staff. Interacts with other departments as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-year experience in the same role in an international hotel brand Passionate about taking care of the guest Fluent in English
What we need from you
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Follow the service standards and procedures for the outlet with ease of process, gracious and responsiveness.
· Welcome and greet guests in a congenial manner.
· Take the food and beverage orders to the guests after helping them be seated.
· Assist the service attendant in times of heavy business.
· Takes all calls, reservations, maintains accurate information in the reservation book.
· Maintains the cleanliness of the reception area, freshness of the flowers set on the table and makes necessary requisitions.
· Update the guest history.
· Assist the head waiter in monitoring customer satisfaction.
· Distributes menu copies to the kitchen and cashier for special arrangements.
· Anticipate customer needs and to attend to this need towards customer satisfaction, promoting guest relations effectively.
· Report guest comments and complaints to the restaurant manager promptly and to handle complaints diplomatically.
· Performs other duties as maybe assigned to her by the Supervisor or Manager
Additional to the above-mentioned requirements an Employee will at times be expected to perform tasks and duties outside of his/her scope of work as necessitated by work demand.
