In this role, the Food Production Manager will be responsible for the Food Production operations including the creation and implementation of the plant鈥檚 policies and procedures.

You will work in collaboration with the Plant Team to standardize supply chain and production practices that ensures optimized output and quality control



ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Initiate and maintain the operations of the plant in compliance with Pillars output and quality standards

2.Review and optimize Plant lay-out and supply chain procedures

3.Coordinate with Pillars Supply chain forecasting and meet store daily orders

4.Oversee daily operations of the Plant including optimization, quality control, and overall production

5.Acquire and maintain ISO 22000 certification for the plant

6.Negotiate and acquire necessary tools and equipment required with different vendors to automate production line and eliminate waste

7. Supervise the recruitment and training of production, decoration, and other plant staff

8. Maintain set KPI targets such as output efficiency (Kg/mhr), output quality, and waste control

9. Operate within labour and G&A budget set by CEO

10. Continuously review Food Production processes with peers so on-time and in-full performance is achieved

Requirements

Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Supply Chain/Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or related field

5+ years of Production and Management experience in manufacturing food facility

Familiarity with ISO 22000 procedures and requirements

Proficient in Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams..)

Excellent communication skills with proficiency in both Arabic and English

Have an in-depth understanding and working experience with HACCP, GMP, ISO standards and lean six sigma systems
