To see what career opportunities we have available, explore below to find your next career!<p><br></p><strong>Labor Category</strong><p><br></p><strong>FN2</strong><p><br></p><strong>Job Overview</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Primary function: perform a full range of emergency response duties to include fire suppression, hazardous materials response, specialized rescue, and manmade/natural disaster response.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Roles And Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Responds to aircraft and structural emergencies, wildland/urban interface fires, hazardous material calls, and confined space incidents.</li><li>Drives and inspections fire department vehicles; operates firefighting equipment and tools.</li><li>Exercises judgment, and initiative; receives and executes direction from Crew Chief or another senior member.</li><li>Completes daily work assignments.</li><li>Maintain firefighting vehicles and equipment per manufacturer’s recommendation.</li><li>Maintain living quarters and the fire station’s overall appearance.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Certifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>This occupation has a level of skill commensurate with a high school diploma or higher qualification.</li><li>IFSAC or ProBoard certification to include Firefighter I &amp; II, Airport Firefighter, Driver/Operator ARFF, Driver/Operator Pumper, Driver/Operator Mobile Water Supply, Hazardous Material Operations, and Telecommunicator I/II.</li><li>Valid home-of-record driver’s license.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Skills, Abilities And Years Of Experience</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships.</li><li>At least four years of relevant experience is desired.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office</li><li>Communicates effectively in writing, on the telephone and in person.</li><li>Solution focused.</li><li>Culturally aware</li></ul><p><br></p>Acuity International is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
