The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a Financial Accounting Consolidation Specialist to join the Controllers organization within the Finance, Strategy &amp; Development business line in This Company. The Controller’s organization acts as This Company’s primary representative for financial and income tax reporting to management and to the Saudi Arabian government producing the Company’s consolidated financial statements, subsidiaries’ financial statements, and other management reports. Additionally, the organization maintains the Company’s General Ledger, Fixed Asset records, and supporting documents while also monitoring payments and calculating withholding taxes related to non-resident vendors. The Controller also provides accounting and advisory services related to Saudi This Company’s interests. You will possess significant relevant financial consolidation experience within a variety of industries; however, significant experience within the energy industry is desirable. You will have the ability to establish personal credibility with both internal and external clients, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and work well with fellow team members while planning, prioritizing, and coordinating their workload to ensure meeting critical deadlines. You will be able to add value by delivering high quality work and be able to proactively overcome issues and challenges to ensure timely delivery.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Consolidate financial data from the Company, subsidiaries, and joint venture entities.</li> <li>Review, analyze, and prepare financial statements.</li> <li>Research and analyze accounting literature to address current issues in accounting and financial reporting.</li> <li>Provide analysis, recommendations, and responses on consolidation matters.</li> <li>Prepare confidential and technical financial reports and forecasts.</li> <li>Coordinate with auditors and provide support for audit/review of consolidated financial statements.</li> <li>Provide financial expertise to subsidiaries, joint ventures, or within the Company.</li> <li>Provide financial statement perspective on Joint Venture, M&amp;A integration support.</li> <li>Offer ad hoc financial expertise as required.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; graduate degree preferred</li> <li>Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA required</li> <li>10+ years relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting research, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, or strategy consulting</li> <li>Specific industry experience in energy, infrastructure, utilities, joint ventures, subsidiaries, government, non-profits, or public administration desirable</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of IFRS accounting policies and procedures</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of accounting policies and procedures in the oil and gas industry</li> <li>Able to conduct research on IFRS or This Company accounting and financial reporting matters</li> <li>Capable of preparing preliminary findings, analyzing alternative approaches, and making recommendations for action</li> <li>Strong presentation and leadership skills, including experience leading executive-level meetings</li> <li>Proficient in both oral and written English</li> <li>SAP or equivalent ERP systems experience highly desirable.</li></ul>
