Job Description
The Credit Risk Officer is responsible for monitoring the credit control & monitoring activities of the airline. Assist in the preparation of weekly BSP reports.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key Activities
1.Ensure timely repatriation of funds from distributors as per the credit terms agreed in the distributor contracts.
2.Ensure timely credit of funds to Travel Agency Accounts that follow the airline’s prepayment model.
3.Identify areas of improvement and/or automation in top-up process.
4.Responsible for Allocation of stocks for Cargo agents.
5.Prepare monthly aging of receivables.
6.Follow-up for long outstanding receivables. Ensuring timely follow-up and collection of receivables.
7.Assist in the preparation of weekly BSP reports. Ensure timely preparation of the weekly and monthly reports,
8.Creation of customer codes on receipt of necessary documentation.
9.Maintaining records of all distributor contracts and visa related contracts and ensuring timely follow-up to obtain updated and valid contracts.
10.Ensuring financial security is obtained as per the contract before granting credit limit to agents.
11.Provide day-to-day support with regards to credit control activities.
12. Be cooperative to perform any other activities assigned by the Reporting Manager.
