Charterhouse are presently managing a search, to pinpoint a Finance Manager to join a construction consultancy practice, located in Sharjah.
About the role
This role shall take ownership of a broad range of accounting and reporting based disciplines, within the accounting and finance function, in support of a Group the Finance Director whilst managing a small team of Accountants. This role shall be heavily focused towards the financial accounting and book-keeping management matters whilst overseeing areas of financial management pertaining to cash-flow controls, collections and the oversight of treasury related activities.
Functionally, this role shall also focus towards areas of statutory reporting and compliance matters linking to Tax, KYC and any financing agreements whilst also overseeing a consolidation of financial statements and reporting-bases commentaries.
In conjunction, this role will focus towards the oversight of project-based accounting; whereby the tracking and analysis of work-in-progress, and subsequent collections, are monitored and implemented across the project portfolio ensuring strong, accurate and timely collections.
About you
Within this search, the client will look to recruit a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant, whom can demonstrate a strong baseline of up to ten years of experience within a technical accounting role. On top of this, the client is ideally looking for a candidate whom can demonstrate a strong analytical-based skillset; whereby they can undertake any financial modelling and analysis across the Excel platform.
The successful candidate shall also be required to deliver an understanding of project-based accounting and any nuances linking to work-in-progress, billing points and collections, whilst in conjunction support the business in terms of cash-flows and liquidity management. The client will look for an ambitious and diligent self-starter whom can join and contribute a strong “value add” to the role and organisation.
