<p>The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You will be responsible for the company’s financial needs and will be reporting directly to the CEO.</p><p>As a Finance Manager, you will provide strong management and leadership skills to be able to drive best-in-class financial, and accounting operations across teams and functions. Moreover, you will be responsible for the development of financial models and scenario planning, preparation of financial budgets and variance analysis, accounting, and cash management.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Work directly with the CEO to scope out cost base inefficiencies and provide macro level budget, ad-hoc analysis, forecasts, and financial models.</li><li>Calculate and predict burn, negotiate debt facilities, and accurately present the current and future cash position real-time.</li><li>Play a leading strategic service-focused role in the revenue budget and capital programs, including providing advice to officers and managers on the choices that need to be made.</li><li>Play a leading strategic role in the management of financial position, including regular monitoring and reporting to Senior Management.</li><li>Contribute to the closure of accounts process and to ensure that the annual accounts are accurate and produced within statutory timescales.</li><li>Support the development of capital and revenue business cases from strategic outline to full business case delivery, through assessment of the financial and resource implications of options being considered in support and delivery of the Financial Strategy for the business.</li><li>Represent the Financial Function at meetings of the Leadership Team, or other Committees and executive meetings.</li><li>Plan the delivery of financial management, financial reporting, financial advice, and support to the Senior Management.</li><li>Develop a strategy to ensure the finance team can support all services of the department in providing best value and maximizing efficient use of financial resources, both in terms of revenue and capital expenditure, over both the short and long term.</li><li>Provide relevant financial implications, input or commentary to all reports produced for the Leadership Team and any reports required for external bodies.</li><li>Devise and ensure delivery of a comprehensive program of financial monitoring reports to allow effective monitoring and planning by managers at both a strategic and operational level on all aspects of the use of financial resources (revenue and capital).</li><li>Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure</li><li>Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank transaction, vendor contract &amp; payments, payroll.</li><li>Meet required filing deadlines with regulatory authorities</li><li>Manage and supervise core accounting functions and accounting books.</li><li>Define and maintain financial and operational metrics of the company.</li><li>Prepare monthly budgets and projections.</li><li>Track budgetary expenditure and conduct regular variance analysis.</li><li>Prepare financial accounts including balance sheet, P&amp;L, and CFS</li><li>Preparing analysis, commentary, and presentation material for the monthly and quarterly financial review meetings with internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost and expenses and drive data-driven strategy.</li><li>Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing available information.</li><li>Ensure accurate record keeping of all supporting documents.</li><li>Supports the CEO through fundraising processes with institutional investors to ensure the business is sufficiently capitalized.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting and/or Business Administration</li><li>Has a CMA Certificate is a must.</li><li>Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience of leading a finance function (preferably B2B startup experience)</li><li>Overall minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in the core finance and accounting function</li><li>Excellent English oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong presentation &amp; negotiations skills.</li><li>Strong Leadership skills.</li></ul>
