The Company
Robert Half are working with a largely back family office newly setting up in Dubai, is looking to hire a Finance Director/CFO. The role reports to the Chairman of the family office, and is based in Dubai.
The Role
* Preparing and analyzing budgets
* Understanding and advising on compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
* Performing risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments
* Controlling and evaluating the organization's fundraising plans and capital structure
* Liaising with banks and setting up relations with banks in UAE and other GCC countries
* Work with bank compliance, organize process of accounts opening
* Cash flow management, payment control
* Manage and supervise audit
* Tax support and tax structuring
* Analyzing of complicated legal structures and cash flows from tax perspective
* Set up and oversee the company's finance IT system
* Tracking, reporting, and analyzing budget variances
* Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate
* Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
* Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance
* Forecasting future financial performance, including 3 forms of statements: profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow
