Finance and Operations manager

Job Description

<p>MASQ is seeking for a Finance and operations manager with previous experience in trading.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Improve operational systems, processes and policies — specifically, better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organisational planning </li><li>Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence</li><li>Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls</li><li>Organisation of fiscal documents</li><li>Lead annual budgeting and planning process for annual budget </li><li>Develop long-range forecasts and maintain long-range financial plans</li><li>Prepare draft audit accounts and be a liaison with the externally appointed auditor</li><li>Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for the organisation including reports to the Finance Committee &amp; Staffing Committees and Board</li><li>Oversee day to day processing of accounts</li><li>Reconcile monthly activity, generating year-end reports, and fulfil tax related requirements</li><li>Manage month end and year-end closure procedures</li><li>Provide financial management of all project funded activities and programs</li><li>Manage bank accounts to ensure sufficient liquid funds whilst investing surplus cash</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>3 years in similar role </p><p>BA in Finance and administration</p><p>MBA preferable</p>
