Job description
We are looking for an experienced finance officer, based in Dammam, KSA with first-hand experience dealing with a variety of finance tasks (accounting, reporting, Petty Cash and reimbursements, reconciliation, payroll, …). Supported by our local and regional controllers/finance managers, the candidate ideally has an ambition to learn, and grow to a managerial role in short-medium term.
Duties:
·Supervise and handle the accounting tasks (G/L, A/P, A/R, bank statements, VAT, Tax, etc.) as well as the timely and correct legal and other mandatory reporting
·Report on the evolution of stocks, outstanding receivables/payables and cash flow
·Perform margin analyses and provide management with insight on the cost price and margin
·Ensures the timely completion of the monthly closing
·Ensures accurate accounting entries of journal entries other than payables
·Ensures all financial intergroup transactions related to shared services
·Ensures all financial intergroup transactions related to shared services
·Ensures a fair allocation of expenses across the different BUs/JVs/department/projects
·Executes intergroup funding and borrowing activities, in line with the Group’s Treasury policiesand proposedinternal interest rates
·Ensures timely completion of intergroup reconciliation
·Supports the harmonization and standardization of all financial processes across BUs/JVs to optimize theconsolidation of financial statements and intergroup transactions
·Coordinate the timely monthly financial reporting to the head office
·Prepare and comply with the Audit Reviews and provide assistance to the tax return preparation for the auditor
·Review the monthly cash flow and P&L and monitor performance against budget
·Contact person for VAT and banks reporting
·Liaise with the different responsible people about monthly performance
·Coordinate the yearly budgeting process
·Timely identify financial and internal control risks and implement action plans
·Manage the local balance sheet in terms of foreign exchange exposure and financing (working capital & fixed asset finance)
·Manage and complete ad-hoc projects as needed
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Accounts / Finance
Computer Literate in Excel / Words and any ERP / SAP system
5-10 years experience in similar industry in KSA is preferred. Certified to follow Saudi Accounting principles
Competent in all aspects of Finance & Account
Very good understanding of all VAT, Zatca, & auditors requirements
Past exposure to warehousing, keeping stocks and logistics
Strong communication skills
Good Inter-personnel skills
Ambition to learn and grow
Requires IT skills.
Fluent in Arabic & English (written & Verbal)
Knowledge on VAT, ZATCA etc.
Valid Driving License
Excellent typing skills in both English and Arabic
Punctual, Analytical, team player and customer focussed, takes responsibility to accomplish the job given.
Self-learner and team player
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
