Thinking beyond opportunity and reward, at Flowserve, we are inspired by working together to create extraordinary flow control solutions to make the world better for everyone!</p><p>We are looking for a Field Service Technician to install, commission, monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Flowserve’s and third-party valves across industries such as oil and gas, chemical, nuclear, coal, and wastewater industries, depending on the customer engagement.</p><p>In this challenging position the Field Service Technician (FST) provides real-time technical support to our customers and provides recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and replacement equipment. The FST is actively engaged in troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions onsite at nearby customer facilities.</p><p>Our Field Service Technician team is the face of Flowserve, and we count on them to deliver a world-class service to our customers, creating a lasting competitive advantage for our products and services.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Execution of service assignments, repair activities and reporting.</li><li>Autonomous coordination and execution of repair activities of returned goods, incl. reporting and documentation.</li><li>Perform site survey with sales department</li><li>Repairs of all Flowserve and Non-Flowserve valve &amp; actuator products</li><li>Support the processing of customer complaints.</li><li>Responsible for own SHEA related issues.</li><li>Responsible for organization of required equipment (tools, PPE, …).</li><li>Trainings for service partners, customers and plant operators related to valve repair and maintenance.</li><li>LMRA, safety audits.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Completed apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or similar.</li><li>Sound command of the English and French language.Adequate experience with control valves and customers of this business segment.</li><li>Adequate experience in field service (international).</li><li>Good documentation skills regarding reports and other documentation.</li><li>Able to interface well with customers always presenting a positive perception of the company.</li><li>Stress resistant and solution oriented.</li><li>Extensive travel, both domestic and international.</li><li>Willingness to have / get the necessary immunization, vaccinations and medicine which are mandatory to travel international.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of the Flowserve FCO products..</li><li>Cross-cultural competence.</li><li>MS-Office, MS-Teams competency.</li><li>Other ERP systems and specific programs.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>EOE including Disability/Protected Veterans.
