We encourage flexible working arrangements and support hybrid working wherever possible, so you can always be at your best – wherever and whenever you work.<br><br><strong><u>What You Will Be Doing<br><br></u></strong>This opportunity is located in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and you will join our team as a Tornado RB199 Engine Field Service Representative.<br><br>As a RB199 Engine Field Service Representative, you will be playing a significant role in providing technical support and guidance to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) concerning the propulsion system aspect of the Tornado aircraft. You will be based at King Abdulaziz Airbase in Dhahran and you will join our existing team at the Jet Engine Intermediate Maintenance (JEIM) facility. The role will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to expand their knowledge across all areas associated with the technical support of the Tornado propulsion system. .<br><br><strong><u>Key Accountabilities<br></u></strong><ul><li>Provide technical support and guidance to Operators (BAESSA and the RSAF), to assist in the diagnosis of problems at aircraft / engine systems level including Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) support. </li><li>Manage the interface between the Rolls-Royce Defence Operations Centre (DOC), BAESSA and the RSAF Engineering Authority, on behalf of the Operators through Deviation / Deterioration Reports (DDRs), Technical Query Answers (TQAs) etc.</li><li>Support the immediate Customer in the tactical decision-making process with respect to the availability of engines, modules and Line Replaceable Items (LRIs).</li><li>Assist with quality investigations and Customer issues in conjunction with the designated Quality Professional.</li><li>Support Customer technical meetings such as the RB199 Engine Support Review Meeting (ESRM), daily Maintenance Operation Centre (MOC) meeting etc. as and when required.</li><li>Participate in liaison meetings with the Jet Engine Team (JET) in order to understand and determine root cause of any build and test related issues, contributing as required whilst supporting resolution activity to minimise these events.</li><li>Support the Customer in delivery of periodic reporting such as ground and air failures analysis, engine rejection trends etc..</li><li>Support and deliver continuous improvement activities in both the Forward and Depth support environment.</li><li>Support the effective induction of new team members and engage in their familiarisation training towards their personal authorisation approval<br></li></ul>In delivering this role, the emphasis is on Flight Safety, high standards of Quality worthy of the Rolls-Royce brand, teamwork, communication, and process compliance.<br><br><strong>Note. These principles form our values and behaviours and are an essential component of our assessment process and are fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles.<br><br>To be successful in this role you will need to have:<br><br><strong><u>Qualifications/Experience<br></u></strong><ul><li>Candidate qualifications will be a mix of HNC, HND and degree level or equivalent relevant experience.</li><li>Knowledge of gas turbines, engineering standards and processes is essential</li><li>Knowledge and experience of the Tornado aircraft RB199 Propulsion System is essential.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communications skills with high level of English language skills, both written and verbal is essential.</li><li>Experience of working with the RSAF and industry partners will be beneficial.</li><li>Able to work under pressure, working to tight short-term deadlines and self-motivated with a positive attitude to work.</li><li>Organised with the ability to prioritise.<br></li></ul>We are an equal opportunities employer.
