Job purpose summary

Guide and support the sales & marketing team to reach their goals and achieve targets after setting an action plan and a smart strategy for each product and finalizing the yearly forecast.

Train, develop, use smartly all resources available (human, financial) to reach the target set with a good margin of profitability

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry or Biology / an MBA degree is a plus

10+ years experiences in pharmaceutical field

Solid background in the market

Duties & responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales targets at desirable share of market in collaboration with Executive Manager

• Control and monitor implementation of sales strategies and tactics and provide feedbacks

• Set Marketing strategies for each product and liaising with suppliers for marketing support

• Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional materials and activities

• Plan and execute all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media, brochures… to establish and maintain product branding

• Identify new opportunities for corporate marketing and promote as appropriate

• Conduct Market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products

• Determine and Control budget / expenses in collaboration with the Executive Manager

• Manage and oversee return on investment (ROI) reports on monthly basis based on the research and marketing strategy and presenting to the Executive Manager

• Attend conferences, seminars and business meetings as needed

• Organize specific orientation to ensure adequate integration of the new employee

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members and set development plan accordingly

• Deliver trainings when needed

• Follow up on daily basis with each member to ensure the completion of the daily tasks: make the requested number of calls (Dr.+ Pharmacies), getting orders, and solving objections presented by customers, target achievement…

• Join the medical representatives at the field on double visits to provide coaching & support

• Conduct sales meeting with the team

• Maintain contact with key accounts to build long term relationships

• Ensure compliance with all internal procedures, policies and requirements and serve as a role model to team member

Languages

Effective communication skills in Arabic, English or French

Computer Knowledge

Knowledge of computer applications (MS Office, Power point…)
