Job Description

<ul><li>Monitor and record the patients condition and communicate any changes to the medical team. Offer high-quality patient care, and assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating. </li><li>Administer prescribed medication and treatments in a timely manner. Perform routine procedures like blood pressure and temperature measurements, and respiration rate assessments. </li><li>Maintain detailed and accurate reports of the patients medical histories, and of the care and treatment plans implemented. Use electronic health record software to document patient information and treatment plans. </li><li>Work in coordination with the doctors, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to execute integrated healthcare plans. Attend medical procedures and assist surgeons during operations. </li><li>Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses or injuries, including post-treatment home care needs, diet and exercise, and medication administration. </li><li>Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety procedures and infection control protocols. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>A BSc in Nursing or a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) certification. </li><li>Minimum of 1-year experience in a clinical or hospital setting. </li><li>The ability to stand for long periods and move quickly in response to emergencies. </li><li>Physical stamina to lift, turn, or move patients and to stand for long periods. </li><li>Candidates should be up to 40 years of age.</li></ul>
