They will support in creating and maintaining all digital and physical records associated with apparel styles including but not limited to measurements, bills of material, technical documentations, and revisions thereof. </span></p><p><br></p><p><span>This position supports production development with documentation used to communicate product details to cross-functional team partners, and maintains documentation creations, reviews, revisions, and approvals in the system. They will work cross-functionally with our Design, Product Development, QA, Compliance, and Document Control teams.</span></p><p> skilled in patternmaker to create factory patterns for our manufacturing company. In this role you will be required to study blueprints and design models, create paper templates, and design the final pattern for mass production.</p><p>To ensure success as a patternmaker, you should have extensive experience with pattern design,, and a good eye for detail. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities </p><ul><li>Meeting with product designers to discuss the base design.</li><li>Reading and interpreting design models and blueprints.</li><li>Creating rough-draft templates using computer drafting software and freehand techniques.</li><li>Measuring, cutting, and designing patterns in the material required.</li><li>Double-checking the pattern dimensions and style.</li><li>Sending the initial pattern for a manufacture check.</li><li>Meeting with designers to review the final product.</li><li>Tweaking the pattern and filing the design.</li><li>Reporting back to company managers</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Education Preferred: </strong>A bachelor’s degree in Apparel Development, Design, or Textiles is preferred.</p><p><strong>Work Experience Required: </strong>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Suites is required. There is a preference for 1-4 years of experience in apparel design, development, or product management experience with technical products/apparel.</p><p><strong>Materials Knowledge</strong>:</p><p>Familiar understanding of materials essential to product requirements, and design decisions.</p><p><strong>Task & Project Planning:</strong></p><p>Must be able to prioritize individual / team project tasks, be a trusted member of the team, and reach out to others to verify and select a path forward. Not expected to manage the scope of a project without guidance from BUD/PLM or relevant manager.</p><p><strong>Processes Management:</strong></p><p>Cursory understanding and familiar with internal workflows & software systems.</p>
