Job Description
<p>We are seeking a talented Fashion Designer to join our team and lead the research and production of innovative clothing lines that align with current market trends.</p><p>As a Fashion Designer, you will have the exciting opportunity to travel to fashion events, analyze market data, and identify emerging fashion trends.</p><p>Collaborating with our team of skilled Designers and Marketers, you will translate these trends into captivating clothing products that resonate with our customers.</p><p>Your creative vision and expertise will play a crucial role in shaping our seasonal collections.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to lines and create new concepts</p><p>Ensure products are in agreement with business strategy</p><p>Select fabrics and trims</p><p>Create production sketches for development packages</p><p>Collaborate with a technical designer to ensure development packages are accurate</p><p>Attend clients for custom made dresses</p><p>Assist with dress fitting and adjustments </p><p>Attend fittings </p><p>Take measurements using measuring tape </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>Proven work experience as a Fashion Designer or similar role</p><p>Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator</p><p>Availability to travel for research and product development</p><p>Ability to do sketches by hand</p><p>Excellent design and conceptual skills</p><p>A bachelor’s degree in design or fine arts is preferred</p><p>Relevant training and/or certifications as a Fashion Designer</p>
