Job Description:

We are looking to hire an experienced factory manager to supervise factory workers and ensure that factory targets are met. The factory manager’s responsibilities include scheduling building and equipment maintenance as needed, regularly walking the factory floor to monitor the performance of factory staff, and ensuring that all production orders are completed in a timely manner. Should also be able to enforce compliance with health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.

A successful factory manager should demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that may derail production. Ultimately as a top-performing factory manager, we expect communication, management, and leadership skills to ensure that factory operations run smoothly.

Job Responsibilities:

·        Responsible for the overall performance of the production unit & the workers.

·        Coordinating and closely working with production department heads and ensuring a smooth flow of work.

·        Collaborating with quality control managers to establish and execute quality control processes of factory workers.

·        Analyzing production data to identify and resolve any production issues

·        Regularly inspecting finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards.

·        Preparing production reports and submitting them to key decision-makers.

·        Ensuring that factory premise machinery is in good tidy conditions.

·        Motivating factory workers to continually achieve factory targets.

·        Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations.

·        Assisting HR in the hiring of new workers.

Skills

Requirements & Skills:

·        Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial management, or related field.

·        Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a factory.

·        Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment.

·        Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

·        The ability to multitask.

·        Outstanding time management skills.

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Strong management and leadership skills.

·        Effective communication skills.

·        Do you have experience in Furniture or Fit-out factories with a minimum of 5 years of experience in UAE? (This is a must for this job)

Education:

·        Bachelors / Master’s (Preferred)

Experience:

·        Factory Manager: 5 to 6 years in UAE (Preferred)

License/Certification:

·        UAE Driver’s License (Must)
