Job Summary

We are looking for an eyelash technician for our subsidiary company Synergy Healing Centre. The candidate should specialise in treatments that improve the appearance of the client’s eyelashes. You will be responsible for the lash extensions, eyebrow, eyelash lamination, and lash perming treatments as well. You are required to consistently provide clients with an amazing lash experience and build strong client relationships with new and existing clients.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with each client based on selected services
• Designs specific eyelash treatments based on individual need
• Actively listen to customer queries, analyse the eyelash condition and make appropriate product recommendation
• Performs professional eyelash extension sessions
• Upholds the standards of sanitation and sterilisation as per the company policies and procedures
• Ensure that the correct amount of adhesive is used and that only one lash extension is attached to each natural lash hair
• Carry out a patch test on the client to make sure they are not allergic to the dye used in the treatment
• Selling products to ensure lash retention
• Understand, promote, and sell eyelash products
• Create an excellent experience for guests with a charismatic, friendly, and helpful attitude
• Provide frequent recommendations and education to guests on proper lash aftercare
• Ensure adequate stock of supplies and equipment; inform Spa Manager when stock is low
• Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with company policy
• Provide accurate and detailed descriptions of treatments, packages, services, treatment contraindications, facility features and hours of operation

Skills

Requirements/Skills:

• Patience: Applying a full set of lash extensions to both eyes can take anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 hours so good patience is essential
• Steady hands: This is painstaking work that involves adding a lash at a time (sometimes 30-60 extensions per eye) to existing lashes so a steady hand is vital
• Accuracy: A lot of the work that eyelash technicians carry out is highly technical and meticulous requiring exceptionally high levels of accuracy
• High concentration levels: A lack of concentration at any time could result in poor results and possibly injury to the lash hairs
• Attention to detail, excellent eyesight
• Artistic, good depth perception, Dexterity
• A licensed professional in aesthetics, or cosmetology
• Must be proficient in classic and/or volume lash techniques with certification
• At least 3 – 4 years of experience in the same field
• Willingness to learn new lash and eye area techniques
