Job Description

Responsibility and Focus

  • Directly managing and leading a team within the SEO vertical of the Experience Design practice
  • Assumes full accountability for successful end-to-end SEO project delivery for a specified set of clients
  • Take ownership of the performance, output, and growth of the team members including managing daily deliverables and career progression
  • Coordinate & engage with multiple SEO hubs (within other countries/time zones) to drive SEO operations & delivery.  
  • Collaborate with other pod leads to deliver excellence and ensure consistency in product delivery and account management
  • Develop relationships within the Publicis network and other practices to drive cross-channel learning & integration. 
  • Work with leadership to ensure all revenue is realized and forecasts are updated regularly. 
  • Proactively bring new ideas to the team through innovative solutions and/or product enhancements, develop them and provide a strategy for monetizing them. 
  • Assist leadership in forecasting milestones for product & revenue growth for own & extended SEO pods. 
  • Actively participate in preparing and developing case studies for regional and international awards.
  • Have an awareness of the changing landscape for Search channels. 
  • Support business growth and development for new pitches and defend existing clients.
  • Ensures effective project management of SEO roadmap and sets clear roles and responsibilities for all team members by communicating the importance of the value they deliver to the project upfront.

Qualifications

Technical & Product

  • Lead SEO projects for clients from end to end & meet expectations with strategy and quality delivered within deadlines.
  • Ensure client’s requirements, priorities and challenges are well communicated to the team and understood. 
  • Report insightful feedback to clients, supported with solid research and analysis.
  • Take accountability for maintaining client deliverables through proactive account management and foresight.
  • Support direct reports to drive performance & manage client expectations.
  • Review weekly project & business trackers to drive operational excellence. 
  • Be accountable for the accuracy and relevancy of campaign delivery. 
  • Dissect technical SEO issues and propose solutions to clients & direct reports. 
  • Analyze traffic trends regularly concerning engagement and conversion metrics.
  • Clear and consistent reporting after the completion of each project/campaign to all stakeholders.
  • Manage SEO products and drive innovation on new products. 
  • Create an environment of growth, learning and a data-driven approach where the team feels free to explore new growth opportunities. Mentor junior team members, continuously developing SEO processes and best practices.
  • Ensure Publicis Groupe policies and procedures are followed by direct reports at each project stage.
  • Analyze & optimize to ensure the campaign is profitable for the Groupe. 
  • Applies our commercial models across products and services and their relevant thresholds.
  • Owns client scopes of work and ensures that the scope is being fulfilled. Actively seeks opportunity to upsell new solutions, expand scope, but also accountable to escalate issues to the SEO vertical lead and practice head.
