They are cultured yet trendy hosts with an innate ability to anticipate guests’ needs by being in the right place at the right time and delivering a hospitality experience that goes above and beyond – crafting exciting memories for our guests that last a lifetime.<br><br><strong>The Candidate<br><br></strong>As assistant director of human resources you will join a committed human resources team, driven with the intent of delivering ‘FIVE-star’ experiences to an international diaspora in the heart of vibrant Dubai and Zurich.<br><br>The VIBE at FIVE is all about performing optimally while having the best professional experience of your life. You will be expected to have a passion for your role, disrupt norms all whilst having the best time of your life.<br><br>As our ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly active environment. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none and you enjoy developing guest solutions that break boundaries.<br><br>We are looking for a natural self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities, can focus on, and execute, tasks with a sharp eye for detail. An outgoing, people-friendly personality with an ability to think ‘on your feet’ during changing situations is also essential.<br><br>You’ll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving service goals.<br><br><strong><u>Key Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li>Ensure the highest level of guest service through the application of FIVE Standard Operating Policies.</li><li>Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance and safety are achieved in the department and throughout the hotel.</li><li>Prepares Annual Linen Budget on the basis of quantity inventory and linen losses and annual uniform budget.</li><li>Maintain a close working relationship with all hotel departments and be a positive contributor to the leadership team of the hotel.</li><li>Assist in maximizing hotel profitability by properly managing expenses, labor and other material resources.</li><li>To be health & safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment.</li><li>Understands and is aware of all fire and safety procedures as well as occupational health and safety.</li><li>Highly organized, career and result oriented with the ability to be flexible with hours, days of assignment and additional duties.</li><li>Liaison for all external contractors, auditing their services regularly and ensuring their standards meet FIVE expectations.</li><li>Ensure high morale throughout the department through recognition and removal of identified barriers.</li><li>A coaching nature and empathetic approach to leadership, positively impacting colleague’s satisfaction and the guest experience.</li><li>Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Requirements<br><br></u></strong><strong>What are we looking for:<br></strong><ul><li>Hands-on approach with a ‘can-do!’ work attitude</li><li>Commitment to delivering exceptional guest services with a passion.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in a Luxury Hotel in the UAE in a Managerial role</li><li>Must be proactive with a meticulous eye for detail.</li><li>Must be highly organized and energetic and possess the ability to get the job done.</li><li>Holder of an EU residence permit.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of industry regulations</li><li>Ability to find creative solutions while taking ownership for all duties and tasks assigned<br></li></ul><strong><u>Benefits<br><br></u></strong><strong>Rewards At Work!
