Job Description

We are looking for Executive Chef for a Greek Cuisine to join immediately.

The selected candidate is responsible for all food production including that used for restaurants and other outlets. Develop menus, food purchase specifications, recipes and monitor food and labor budget for the department. Maintain highest professional food quality and sanitation standards

Responsibilities

  • Developing unique menus and recipes for different cuisines
  • Define menu concepts and update dishes.
  • Identifying and introducing new culinary techniques
  • Current knowledge of trends in the restaurant industry
  • Planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities
  • Ability to choose the right kitchen layout and kitchen equipment and guarantee smooth operation
  • Kitchen staff directing, supervising and problem-solving.
  • Kitchen staff training -food safety, hygiene, and Baladiya Rules of Qatar
  • Maintain high standard quality for food and service
  • Maintaining the kitchen in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
  • Performing administrative duties, including meetings, paperwork.
  • Financial knowledge -Costing, Budgeting, menu pricing, food cost control, Maintain and track inventory,.
  • Ability to deal with suppliers and to modify recipes as needed and keeping high quality of food taste.

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as an Executive Chef for more than 8 years
  • with Greek Cuisine experience
  • Pre-opening of a new business set up experience
  • Advance culinary skills including food preparation, flavor preparation, flavor pairings, and other cooking best practices.
  • Excellent record of Kitchen Management
  • Must have experience in developing / creating new Menus & concepts.
  • Holding excellent record of kitchen management & expert in Staying current on developing trends in the restaurant industry
  • Bachelors Degree in culinary science or related certificate
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • Must be locally available in QATAR with valid Qatar ID.
  • Able to join Immediately
