Job Description
The Executive Assistant’s duties and responsibilities focus on providing experienced administrative support to the Provost of NEOM U and his team in delivering efficient and timely outcomes. This support encompasses a variety of tasks related to organization, communication, events, and logistics, and involves the professional handling of confidential and time sensitive material, and engagement with senior personnel from within and outside NEOM. It also requires a significant degree of flexibility and responsiveness to address urgent deadlines and out-of-hours requests.
Key Accountabilities & Activities
- Provides administrative support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of a busy team.
- Supports team organization and clear communication.
- Schedules, organizes, and prepares for events and meetings, including gathering documents and attending to the logistics, also supporting meeting attendees from outside the team.
- Takes accurate minutes of meetings and provides corresponding documentation in a timely manner.
- Supports the onboarding process of new staff.
- Contributes to ERI sector in general by providing support to other teams when needed.
- Prepares well-organized travel itineraries for domestic and international travel, including booking flights and other transport, and makes hotel and restaurant reservations.
- Maintains supplies and stationery requirements.
- Keeps computer databases up to date.
- Performs any other related duties as needed.
