Execution officer

Job Description

The company was recently established and now is looking to expand its team.Therefore we are currently looking to hire an experienced and process-oriented Execution Officer to be based in Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities:

-Execution of the sales/purchase’s contracts with inherent planning follow up

-Issuing specific shipping documents and ensuring contract execution with diligence and responsibility

– Contracts management (issue, signature, archive)

-Monitoring contractual position

-Preparation / Verification / issuance of Shipping documents

-Completing cargo insurance policies

-Handling various claims customers questions

-Working closely with different Teams around the World (Trading – Freight – Accounting)

– Monitor the shipment from the loading silos onto vessel to final destination and ensure all the necessary documents and customs formalities are met.

-Close coordination with buyers, suppliers, C&F agents, surveyors and warehouse staff.

– Monitoring and managing all cross trade shipments, imports and exports.

-Monitoring credit sales documents and follow up with clients.

REQUIREMENTS

-at least 4 years of experience in a similar Forwarding / Execution position

-Good analytical & problem-solving skills

-Able to work independently and proactively

-Self-starter, team-spirit with a strong work ethic

-Fluent in English, any other languages an asset

– Available quickly

-Able to work under pressure

-Good communication skills

– Constant communication with clients regarding the status of delivery

– Technical knowledge : Incoterms, GAFTA / FOSFA Regulations, the applicability of VAT, 

– Operating basic computer knowledge (Excel , Word , MS Office)

– Knowledge of container and break bulk handling is required.

– Willing to take on any task as assigned by the company over and above normal shipping duties.
