Our client is an award-winning and fast growing event technology provider specializing in unique integrated technology solutions for large scale and high profile exhibitions, conferences and live entertainment and sports events.<p><br></p>We are hiring a UAE experienced business development manager from the events or events technology sector to join their Dubai headquarters.<p><br></p>The primary responsibility of the role is to generate and close new sales, organically grow existing accounts and create profitable partnerships with related providers.<p><br></p><strong><u>Role Summary</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Develop new business development and client acquisition strategies and execute results driven roadmaps to achieve annual market share and revenue growth targets. </li><li>360-degree sales cycle to achieve annual sales targets – lead generation, pipeline growth, preparation and submission of RFP and proposal, negotiation and deal closure. </li><li>Collaborate with the marketing and projects teams to create brand awareness and opportunities to showcase the services through digital media, meetings and networking events. </li><li>Foster relationships with event and sports organizers and sponsorship partners; senior level decision makers at premium hospitality venues. </li><li>Develop sales processes and KPIs. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Mandatory Skills &amp; Experience</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>7 – 10 years’ experience in B2B consultative and solutions selling, business development and new sales in integrated audio visual and technology solutions for activations, events, exhibitions, conferences, concerts, sports and leisure sector. </li><li>Strong relationships with decision makers in UAE government and semi-government entities, private enterprises, and events and wedding planners. </li><li>In depth experience of using a CRM system for client prospecting and acquisition. </li><li>Strong networking skills to foster and generate new business. </li><li>Strong commercial and financial acumen – responsible for profitable revenue and market share growth. </li><li>Reporting and analysis on sales metrics to optimize sales opportunities and enhance campaign effectiveness. </li><li>Ability to grasp technical knowledge of AV solutions used in the MICE sector. </li><li>UAE driving license is mandatory </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Candidate Profile</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to live and work in Dubai. </li><li>Fluent in English. </li><li>Hunter mindset and approach; entrepreneurial outlook, customer centric and tenacity. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation, communication skills to influence and stakeholder engagement. </li><li>Ability to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented teams. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Education</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree</li></ul>
