We are hiring immediately for an <strong>Events Project Engineer (x3)</strong> – a role that is critical in making sure our customers get the electricity, heating and cooling they need.<br><br><strong>Why Aggreko?</strong> Here are some of the perks and rewards.<br><ul><li>Full-time position to be based in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)</li><li>Competitive compensation package</li><li>Annual bonus program</li><li>Industry-leading benefit plans including medical and travel allowances</li><li>25 days Paid leave plus paid public holidays</li><li>Continuous training and development with career growth opportunities</li><li>Safety-focused culture <br></li></ul><strong><u>What You’ll Do<br></u></strong><ul><li>Manage the on-site team effectively.</li><li>Liaise with the customer and its representatives on-site. </li><li>Manage the installation, operations and demobilization of Aggreko equipment at the venue of responsibility.</li><li>Regular liaison with the Project Manager and Operations Manager on all aspects of the site operation.</li><li>Revise the design during installation and assist in producing the AS BUILT drawings. </li><li>Notify the project manager and client of any variation from design. </li><li>Project Engineering and Contract site management.</li><li>Project design and review to ensure our offering matches the customer’s specific needs or contract requirements.</li><li>Site installation, commissioning, and the handover of Aggreko equipment packages.</li><li>Assist local business teams with project delivery (sometimes in other sectors) where required.</li><li>Day to day leadership of the assigned team, set daily work plans in accordance with the project plans, equipment and man-power resources allocated by the Operations team.</li><li>Physical control and management of the fleet, equipment and spare parts on project site, ensuring the loss / damage process is followed where appropriate.</li><li>React to equipment failures, put in place plans to repair or exchange equipment to return the service to the customer within the agreed KPI’s.<br></li></ul><strong> Sales Support<br></strong><ul><li>To help in the development of nominated national and key accounts in the events industry.</li><li>To assist in the training of the sales team.</li><li>To advise on technical aspects of the fleet and propose improvements as part of the New Product Development process.</li><li>To report back to the management team any products in the marketplace that complements our strategy and presents opportunities for growth (e.g. green and sustainable technologies).</li><li>To monitor and report back any significant news about competitors (e.g. new products &amp; personnel changes).</li><li>To approach each project with a view to innovate and improve our customer offering.</li><li>To provide technical support for customers enquiries. This will include equipment sizing and configurations, application and design solutions. This support may also include assistance with quotations, producing equipment layout schematics and providing technical calculations to validate equipment sizing.<br></li></ul><strong>We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:<br></strong><ul><li>A Project Management qualification is an advantage</li><li>Electrical qualifications preferred and understanding of BS7909</li><li>City &amp; Guilds, NVQ or similar qualification in electrical installation with an understanding of BS7909, refrigeration or mechanical engineering would be preferred, or experience in the events business working in a similar role (possibly gained over a period of 5 or more years).</li><li>Experience in people management &amp; operations site is essential</li><li>Solid technical background – in electrical distribution systems, generator operations, fault diagnosis testing and commissioning procedures. </li><li>Major event, entertainment or television broadcast experience utilizing specific distribution equipment relating to the event industry </li><li>Confident to manage small to medium teams directly</li><li>Basic ability in Auto CAD LT would be an advantage</li><li>Must hold a full valid driving licence</li><li>Willing and able to travel extensively within Saudi Arabia and work away from home for extended periods</li><li>Will be required to work regularly at the weekend and on National Holidays especially during peak events seasons</li><li>Fluent on both spoken and written English language<br></li></ul>We recruit the best talent.
