<strong>Role Summary</strong><p><br></p>The Event logistics Lead will monitor and execute the logistics operations of Events &amp; Exhibition of the Freight Forwarding component of the supply chain and logistics chain of NEOM, working with vendors and proponents to make sure goods are handled in the safest, most efficient and cost-effective way to provide NEOM with the world class supply chain and logistics services.<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Overall Client Engagement and Customer Delivery of the Water Utility is the primary responsibility as NEOM develops </li><li> Supervise &amp; execute Events &amp; Exhibitions freight transactions </li><li> Coordinate amongst all stakeholders to ensure collaboration and integration of activities </li><li> On-site management </li><li> Follow approved policies, procedures, and processes in reporting units </li><li> Execute contract management with the team and ensure all are managed in an efficient and cost-effective way. </li><li> Plan and coordinate various logistics for event and exhibition </li><li> Supervise and execute the operations for events &amp; exhibition ensuring safe, cost effective, achievable, and efficient process for execution. </li><li> Identify &amp; implement effective and appropriate methods for handling of events logistics including on-site operations, loading/offloading, site manpower management &amp; packing </li><li> Understand the scope and requirement of each event and prepare a plan to provide required resources to execute the operations. </li><li> Plan events with attention to financial and time constraints </li><li> Research vendors and choose the best combination of quality and cost </li><li> Do final checks before event to ensure all requirements are met </li><li> Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event along with mitigation plan </li><li> Communicate directly with proponent throughout the event planning process to learn requirements and goals </li><li> Identify training needs &amp; opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department </li><li> Communicates with department regarding customer accounts &amp; workload distribution </li><li> Maintaining and implementing good working practices &amp; procedures to ensure department efficiency. </li><li> Suggest strategies for improvement in operational process </li><li> Handle documentation as per the appropriate requirements and regulations, and through the appropriate platforms and systems </li><li> Support operations &amp; customer service in issue resolutions </li><li> Maintain relationships with key clients, keeping them up to date on the process of their goods and informing them of factors such as shipping options, timelines, or regulations affecting shipments </li><li> Develop and maintain ongoing business relationship with key events venues in the Kingdom </li><li> Conduct post event evaluations and suggest improvements methods </li><li> Fulfill other tasks &amp; responsibilities as given by the FFW Operations Manager </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration or a related field </li><li> Preferably a masters’ degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration </li><li> At least 8 years of experience in freight forwarding for major multinational companies, with at least 4 years in managing on-site events and exhibitions </li><li> Strong motivation skills in addition to decision making and problem-solving skills </li><li> Excellent English verbal and written skills, other languages like Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage </li><li> Excellent MS computer software skills</li></ul>
