The Event and Partnership Specialist will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing various events and productions. If you have a passion for events, strong organizational skills, and a creative mindset, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Job Responsibilities: </u></strong></p><ul><li>Develop and implement event plans and strategies for retail stores or online retail businesses</li><li>Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create promotions, activities, and campaigns that support sales goals and build brand visibility</li><li>Identify suitable event themes, vendors and partners to meet target audience needs and execute events</li><li>Plan and coordinate all aspects of event logistics, from venue and equipment rentals to decorations, food and beverage, staffing and technology needs</li><li>Ensure that events are executed in an organized and timely manner, to enhance customer experience and customer loyalty</li><li>Develop and manage new events and projects across different franchises.</li><li>Collaborate with Entertainment teams and interdepartmental partners to ensure high-performance standards and production values for entertainment offerings.</li><li>Provide management and operational coverage at entertainment events and shows/venues as required.</li><li>Work to drive sales and build brand visibility through increased interaction with customers during events</li><li>Assist in creating and updating entertainment asset inventories.</li><li>Manage and maintain entertainment-owned event assets, ensuring organisation of areas such as warehouses.</li><li>Create comprehensive production books and documentation for project/event planning and archival purposes.</li><li>Develop installation, de-rig, and event run schedules, and ensure their maintenance and communication to stakeholders.</li><li>Support production and event rehearsals as needed.</li><li>Supervise the installation, execution, and de-rig of shows/events, including hands-on work when required.</li><li>Provide guidance, and mentorship to Entertainment colleagues to foster development and succession planning.</li><li>Analyze event results, provide feedback to the Head of Marketing, and make recommendations for future events</li><li>Managing internal and external stakeholders to achieve the timely delivery of projects such as in store promos, events, branding, etc.</li><li>Establishing new and maintaining relationship with vendors, partners, businesses to achieve strategic objectives.</li><li>Ensuring all marketing activity is managed within set budgets.</li><li>Preparing campaign reports and providing feedback to the management in a timely manner.</li><li>Work closely with store to ensure all activities are efficient </li><li>Build up strong partnerships to benefit business growth</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Skills & Qualifications: </u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelorβs degree in marketing, events management or a related field</li><li>2+ years of experience in event planning, preferably in the retail industry</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong project management, organizational and problem-solving skills</li><li>Creative thinker with the ability to develop unique and engaging events</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Excellent time management and multitasking skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines</li><li>Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings and holidays when necessary</li><li>Knowledge of retail marketing, trends and consumer behavior</li><li>Ability to analyze data and use metrics to assess the success of events and promotions.</li><li>Out of the box thinker, cool, fresh spin, and fashionable in approach.</li><li>Understands what the new generation of shoppers would like to see.</li></ul><p></p>
