We are looking for people to join our team who embody these values.</p><p><br></p><p>Position Overview: As an Event Coordinator and Manager in the hospitality industry in Abu Dhabi, your primary responsibility will be to plan, coordinate, and execute various events and functions for the ladies country club. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of events while delivering exceptional customer service. </p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities: </p><ol><li>Event Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, objectives, and budget. Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics.</li><li>Venue and Vendor Management: Identify and secure suitable event venues within the country club. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, such as caterers, decorators and entertainment providers.</li><li>Budgeting and Financial Management: Create and manage event budgets, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines. Monitor expenses and make cost-effective decisions to maximize profitability.</li><li>Event Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including set-up, audio-visual equipment, catering, transportation and guest accommodations. Ensure seamless execution of events, resolving any issues that may arise during the event.</li><li>Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on event progress, address their queries and manage their expectations. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and exceed client’s expectations.</li><li>Team Management: Supervise event staff, including event assistants, banquet servers, and technical </li><li>Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event marketing strategies and promotional materials. Utilize various channels, including social media and email campaigns to attract attendees and enhance event visibility.</li><li>Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from clients and attendees. Analyse event success and identify areas for improvement. Prepare event reports and recommendations for future events.</li><li>Crisis Management: Proactively identify potential risks or issues that may impact events. Develop contingency plans and efficiently handle any unexpected situations or emergencies that may arise during events.</li></ol><p><br></p><p>Qualifications and Skills: </p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field.</li><li>Proven Experience as an Event Coordinator or Manager in the hospitality industry.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of event planning principles, logistics, and best practices.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams. </li><li>Proficiency in using event management software and Microsoft Office applications. </li><li>Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges during events. </li><li>Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to changing event requirements.</li><li>Knowledge of Abu Dhabi’s hospitality industry and local regulations is a plus.</li><li>Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.</li></ul><p><br></p>
