We are currently looking for a
Data Protection Officer (DPO). The Data Protection Officer is an independent position within PwC ETIC reporting to the Chairman.

Your impact
As a Data Protection Officer, you’ll make an impact by:

– Informing and advising PwC and its coworkers who carry out processing of their obligations pursuant to GDPR
– Advising on and reviewing of organizational and technical measures in place or to be implemented to further optimize PwC’s privacy compliance framework
– Following-up on evolutions in privacy related regulations and best practices. Advising and assisting on how to properly align the privacy compliance framework with these evolutions
– Advising and assisting in the role-out of DPO tooling and privacy compliance tooling
– Monitoring compliance with the GDPR, other privacy related regulation and PwC (network) privacy policies in relation to the protection of personal data, including the assignment of responsibilities, awareness-raising and training of staff involved in processing operations, and the related audits
– Assessing overall data protection governance and initiating actions for continuous improvement
– Providing advice and counselling where requested as regards the data protection impact assessment and monitor its performance
– Providing advice and counselling on the data processing & privacy aspect of the contracts to the legal departments
– Managing the process of Data Subject Requests
– Managing the process of Data Breaches
– Managing the process of processing activities
– Cooperating with the supervisory authority
– Acting as the contact point for the supervisory authority on issues relating to processing, including prior consultation, and to consult, where appropriate, with regard to any other matter.
