Our client is a leading Facility Management Company in Qatar that specializes in providing customized facility solutions and services to a diverse range of industries. They are looking to hire an Estimation and Costing Control to manage cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control for facility management projects.<p><br></p><strong>Duties and responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Prepare cost estimates for tenders and proposals in consultation with management and the project team</li><li>Consult with relevant departments to obtain materials and service cost information</li><li>Perform cost analysis for facility management and lifecycle projects</li><li>Manage the RFP process from bid scoping to award</li><li>Conduct risk assessments, value engineering, and cost control</li><li>Visit project sites to gather accurate data for cost estimates</li><li>Develop cost models based on project details, specifications and findings</li><li>Use standard cost-estimating methods, templates, and documents</li><li>Draft contracts in alignment with company objectives and compatible legal terms</li><li>Identify risks in client proposals and recommend mitigation measures</li><li>Participate in post-bid clarification calls and presentations related to commercial and financial aspects</li><li>Prepare prudent cost-value analyses</li><li>Identify and coordinate human resource and material procurement needs</li><li>Develop and maintain mobilization plans</li><li>Assist with contractual inquiries</li><li>Stay knowledgeable of industry trends and provide business improvement ideas</li><li>Negotiate with contractors to ensure high quality at competitive pricing</li><li>Maintain client and departmental files</li><li>Respond to Requests For Information and Quotes promptly</li><li>Perform additional duties as needed<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong><strong>Qualifications and competencies</strong>:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field</li><li>8-10 years of combined professional and cost-estimating experience</li><li>4-5 years experience in facility management cost control</li><li>Experience with risk assessments, quality management, and occupational health and safety systems<br></li></ul>
