Equity Research Specialist (KSA National)

Job Description

You will work in the Middle East, and the North African equities team focused on identifying high-quality businesses with a long term investment time horizon. You will work directly with the portfolio management team and will assist the team in idea generation and carrying out company analysis assigned by the portfolio manager.

Description
Source investment opportunities in the MENA market both in the public and private marketsProvide research and analysis on key market segments and economic developmentsMonitor a watch list of investments including by way of regular interaction with companies and expert networksBuild and maintain financial models and regularly interact with company management and industry participantsPresent research findings to the investment team via written reports, information discussions, and presentationsProvide support to the lead portfolio manager on portfolio analytics and performance presentation

Profile
Fluent Arabic speakerAt least 3 to 5 years of professional investment experience on the buy-side in the Middle EastBachelor’s or Master’s degree with major coursework in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or a related degreeStrong work ethic, demonstrated track record of excellence, and ability to achieve resultsCME qualifications preferred, else candidate needs to be prepared to take required examinations upon joiningCFA qualification or progress towards attainment of the CFA charter is preferred
