Environmental Manager, Marine works

<p>Our client is a global leader in Infrastructure and Construction industry, and are currently looking to hire an experienced Environmental Manager with experience in Marine Civil works. This role will be based in Saudi Arabia, either Jeddah or other locations within KSA. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Preparation of CEMP’s and environmental specialized plans</li><li>Familiar with specialized environmental monitoring programs (e.g. turbidity, sea water, sediment, corals, seagrass, mangroves, migratory birds, turtles, marine mammals etc.)</li><li>Perform regular inspections, and audits etc. to identify compliance including recommendations for corrective or preventive action where appropriate.</li><li>Coordinate with third party consultants for implementing the environmental monitoring of the project as well as organizing environmental monitoring that can be done in house</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Engineering or related </li><li>Strong experience in preparing environmental related project plans and documents (e.g. CEMP specialized subplans), risk assessments etc.</li><li>Strong experience in marine-dredging construction projects as an Environmental Supervisor/Manager </li><li>Experience in similar sized Contracts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia</li><li>Strong experience in coordinating with 3rd party consultants for implementing the environmental monitoring of the project as well as organizing in-house processes </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure</li></ul>
