As one of the world’s leading total solutions providers for the built environment, Faithful+Gould has been providing a versatile blend of construction, program, cost and project management to private companies and the public sector for more than 60 years.<br><br>We are currently looking for an experienced <strong>Environmental Manager </strong><strong>(PMC/ PMO) </strong>to join our Al Ula, KSA team.<br><br><strong><u>Job Purpose<br></u></strong><ul><li>To support the management and efficient and timely regulatory review and decision-making of all stages of the Environmental &amp; Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) process for all development projects in areas the Royal Commission for AlUla’s jurisdication.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li>Manage incoming ESIA Screening applications and ESIA process documents, ensuring robust document control and stakeholder management.</li><li>Review and support completion of ESIA Screening Forms and issue Screening Decision in line with established RCU process and within mandated time.</li><li>Coordinate the review of ESIA related documents to their completion (including ESIA Scoping, Full Report, Statement of Environmental Effects, Construction and Operational Environmental &amp; Social Management Plans) between RCU, Subject Matter Experts and Project proponents or their Project managers.</li><li>With support of the RCU ESIA Lead draft and issue ESIA related decisions inline with RCU ESIA process and within mandated time.</li><li>Support other processes as required related to the improvement of the ESIA process and delivery in RCU.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Academic Qualifications<br></u></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Management, Sustainability or Similar</li><li>Masters in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Management, Sustainability or Similar<br></li></ul>Work experience<br><ul><li>Project management for 3 years minimum</li><li>3 years minimum professional experience of Environmental &amp; Social Impact Assessment related activities</li><li>Kingdom of Saudi Arabia / Middle-east experience<br></li></ul>Skills/ behavior<br><ul><li>Strong management and coordination skills to ensure management of multiple stakeholders to meet mandated timelines</li><li>Ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure</li><li>Process driven, strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail</li><li>Work well independently and in a team</li><li>Excellent communication skills including explaining technical subject matter to non-experts</li><li>Written and oral proficiency in English</li><li>Proficiency with excel</li><li>Arabic speaker – Will add advantage<br></li></ul><strong><u>Rewards &amp; Benefits<br><br></u></strong>We offer an excellent package which includes:<br><br>A competitive salary<br><br>Transportation allowance<br><br>Medical and life insurance cover<br><br>Annual leave<br><br>Medical and life insurance cover<br><br>Company gratuity scheme<br><br>Discretionary bonus scheme<br><br>Annual flight allowance to point of origin<br><br>SNC-Lavalin is committed to eliminating discrimination and encouraging diversity amongst our workforce.
