<p><strong>Position Purpose Summary:</strong></p><p>The Entertainment Content Strategy Director is responsible for the teams in charge of the valuation and analytical strategy behind our content buying and original content decisions. The team works cross-functionally to translate the incredible amount of data into financial and strategic decisions regarding the production and acquisition of TV shows and films. The role closely partners with the senior leadership who depend heavily on the strategic insights provided by the Director to inform critical business decisions across</p><p>the company.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Analyze the performance of all Entertainment Content related investments for beIN Media Group at each Opco (Turkey & MENA for now), define the resource allocations and follow KPIβs accordingly</li><li>Define the potentials for higher ROI on Entertainment Content</li><li>Create the overall content strategy for each of the BMG platforms coordinating with MDs & responsible leads for Content</li><li>Align on key assets that do not perform well on platforms and execute end of license with the Content Acquisition team</li><li>Share the insights generated from viewer and asset data to top management & executives of platforms utilizing the insights for various purposes (incl. editorial of the platforms, retention & marketing)</li><li>Coordinate the content insights generated to assess new assets to be licensed</li><li>Develop and manage team members: establish priorities, set objectives, and provide guidance and feedback</li><li>Work cross-functionally with other teams</li><li>Manage the team and focus on adapting the content according to regional cultural fit</li><li>Ensure OTT platform library & acquisition pipeline includes content to acquire target subscriber base</li><li> Work closely with the team to identify acquisition priorities</li><li>Perform other tasks/projects as assigned by the line manager.</li></ul>
