Job Description

Role Purpose

Responsible for the installation, configuration, migration, performance monitoring, security and troubleshooting Vodafone enterprise storage and backup. Also supports planning and development of storage & backup roadmaps.
 

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership

  • Handle storage & backup, security enforcement, and performance plan.
  • Implement disaster recovery plans for the storage & backup
  • Provide 24/7/365 support & monitor for all enterprise storage & backup within Vodafone-IT. 
  • Ensure on-time and accurate reporting 
  • Maintain storage & backup performance by implementing new technologies and completing maintenance requirements
  • Control, monitor & audit the storage and backup services
  • Handle backup and recovery of the production systems, ensure the backup and restore validity, maintaining archived data.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any relevant field.
  • Minimum of 1 year Systems work experience.
  • Technical certificates in storage & backup
