Job Description
<p>With a fast-growing financial inclusion journey through our apps, we are looking for a Development Manager to lead our B2C development team and help us take our product development cycle to the next level.</p><p><br></p><p>Some of the responsibilities will include:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Define and drive the software development strategy to achieve our ambitions in this financial inclusion journey, guided by the OKRs for B2C</li><li>Coach, mentor, manage performance and work on talent development of team members within an entrepreneurial minded culture</li><li>Guide the development team’s integration with interdisciplinary product squads, with CS, and with our users, to drive the right solutions for complex problems</li><li>Constantly find opportunities to enhance the product development workflows</li><li>Running product experiments and working closely with PMs, designers and Marketing</li><li>Continuously driving engagement, alignment and collaboration between tech and non-tech orgs throughout the organization.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Education</p><ul><li>Software Engineering or Any Related Engineering Degree Skillset</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Skillset</strong></p><ul><li>Extensive experience in cross-functional development and technical leadership in large-scale B2C mobile products.</li><li>Over 5 years of development experience (an early career in <strong>mobile</strong> development is highly desirable)</li><li>Experience in growing a development team from the early stages</li><li>Experience working within a product-led company that places value on coaching and servant leadership</li><li>A goal-oriented person, preferably with experience working with, and driving OKRs (or other management frameworks).</li><li>A critical thinker who can break complex problems into their simplest components.</li><li>An excellent communicator with infectious energy, and a flare for motivating others.</li><li>Previous experience working in cross-functional teams that balance product and engineering needs</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Mindset</strong></p><ul><li>Passionate about digital product development with purpose</li><li>Servant leadership</li><li>Entrepreneurial minded</li><li>Team player</li><li>Beginner’s mindset</li></ul><p></p>
