Job Description
Al Ayuni Investment and Contracting Company is seeking a highly skilled Engineer to join our Equipment Department team. As an Engineer, Waste Management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective and efficient management of waste across our operations.<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Develop and implement waste management strategies and plans.</li><li>Control and recycle our waste oils, tires and used spare parts.</li><li>Fined an agreement with municipality for CO2 emissions.</li><li> Fined an agreement with recycling companies to buy the wastes from the company.</li><li>Monitor waste management activities and ensure compliance with regulations.</li><li>Identify opportunities for waste reduction and implement sustainable waste management practices.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement waste management initiatives.</li><li>Conduct waste audits and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Provide training and guidance to employees on waste management best practices.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in waste management technologies.</li></ul><p><br></p>Job Requirements:<p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years experience. </li><li>Proven experience in waste management, preferably in a similar industry</li><li>Strong knowledge of waste management regulations and best practices</li><li>Ability to develop and implement waste management plans</li><li>Proficiency in using waste management software and tools</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure</li></ul><p><br></p>If you are a dedicated Engineer with a passion for waste management and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.
