Job Description

to deliver satellite communication based projects.
Experience and Skills
1. Should have good understanding of satellite and VSAT communications.
2. Experience in Satcom division with handling of satellite/VSAT modems on C, KU & L-Band.
3. Should have working knowledge with LNA, LNB, Receivers, and Up/Downconverters etc.
4. Experience in Large/ Small Satellite Earth Station Antennas, ACU, Cables, Connectors etc.
5. Experience in Equipments like Spectrum Analyzers, Signal generators, Power splitters etc.
6. Knowledge of Telecommunication technology is desirable.
7. Should be willing for project assignment abroad for both short and long duration.
The position includes following key tasks:
1. Execution of site surveys for potential and existing customer sites and providing the relevant
reports for analysis to the relevant team.
2. Managing of hardware shipment & handover to the customer at the final destination in
coordination with the relevant team.
3. Assist in supervising the installation/maintenance work related to Racks, UPS, Servers,
equipment and systems at the customer site.
4. Work at all stages of project delivery to ensure timely delivery and specification compliance.
5. Work with other team members as required to deliver projects. This may include in-house
personnel, contractors or local labor etc.
6. Provide advanced training & troubleshooting support to the systems at customer site.
7. Create appropriate project design drawings, documents and test plans.
8. Attend customer meetings locally or on-site.
9. Help to organize site phase logistics (facilitate team travel & accommodation, liaise with local
freight forwarders for equipment deliveries, etc.)
10. Perform Acceptance Tests upon completion of new installations and/or migration in the
presence of the customer representative.
11. Responsible for overseas mission support occurring multiple times during the year.
