Advanced Metal Industries and Toho Titanium (ATTM), is a private company operating within the materials sector focusing on specialty chemicals.<p><br></p>An exciting opportunity is available for <strong>Process Safety Engineer </strong>Based in Yanbu and will report directly to <strong>Manager, ISD</strong><p><br></p><strong><em><u>About the role:</u></em></strong><p><br></p>Process Safety Engineer will provide technical Safety support to ATTM facilities. The support is mainly focus on the following: risk assessments, process safety issues, incident investigation, statistical analysis, safety audits, safety related training, technology evaluation, behavioral safety, process safety system and publications. In addition to a broad-based understanding of the complex interaction of chemical process technology, mechanical integrity and process design, process control, and Process Safety Management Systems (PSMS).<p><br></p><strong><em><u>You will be responsible to:</u></em></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Support the develop and implementation of process safety management system and spread the PSMS culture within plant staff.</li><li>Survey the site through the facts or based on the data and analyses root causes for any technical issues and propose possible solutions with justifications.</li><li>Support related teams to implement Mechanical integrity best practices.</li><li>Design concept and requirements of the solutions</li><li>Facilitate the action plans coordinated with relevant sections</li><li>Study a feasibility of project or of action plans by computing the cost and the benefits</li><li>Survey best practices and the latest technology information in the fields</li><li>Address insurance audit and process safety findings and recommendations</li><li>Prepare and review standard operation procedures</li><li>Join the project team if required</li><li>Communicate regarding technical issues with engineers of mother plant, Toho Titanium in Japan </li><li>Communicate regarding technical issues with engineers of TiCL4 source, Tronox Yanbu Plant.</li><li>Participate in the site’s Management of Change (MOC) process and audit MOCs for completion.</li><li>Participate in prestart up safety reviews (PSSR) and implement in various process safety programs.</li><li>Define PHA (process hazard analysis) on any raised MOC’s </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><em><u>About You:</u></em></strong><p><br></p><strong>Minimum Qualification:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Minimum Experience:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>3-5 years of experience in process safety management</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Required Skills:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Knowledge of all three areas of the Sponge production process. Managing and Improving Business Processes</li><li>Familiarity with Titanium Sponge or metallurgy manufacturing is preferred.</li><li>Teamwork</li><li>Business Statistics</li><li>Analytical Thinking</li><li>Verbal and written English skills</li><li>Familiar with Microsoft office programs</li></ul>
