We are seeking an experienced EMEA Senior Procurement Supply Continuity Manager to join our team at Baxter. In this role, you will be responsible for managing suppliers across multiple Baxter segments, collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to maintain a high-quality, productive, and reliable supply base.<br><br><strong>What will you be doing?</strong><ul><li>Leading and facilitating the resolution of critical supplier quality/capacity issues: You will drive suppliers to address short-term supply disruptions, conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and ensure continuity of supply.<br></li><li>Maintaining alignment between suppliers and Baxter’s manufacturing plant: You will collaborate with engineering, supply chain, procurement, and other departments, raising issues and providing data for cost recovery when necessary.<br></li><li>Coaching suppliers on key tools and methods: You will guide suppliers in using tools such as root cause analysis, 5 Whys, FMEA, control plan, statistical process control, and continuous improvement techniques.<br></li><li>Performing supplier capability assessments and audits: You will evaluate suppliers’ process controls, manufacturing capabilities, and lean maturity, identifying non-conformities and areas for improvement. You will work closely with suppliers to plan and implement timely corrective actions.<br></li><li>Building relationships with external suppliers/partners and internal collaborators/customers: You will foster collaboration, diversity, and a cross-functional approach to problem-solving, working with stakeholders from manufacturing operations, planning and fulfillment, quality, business units, and engineering.<br></li><li>Driving supply base improvement: You will systematically review supplier performance, propose continuous improvement activities, and work with suppliers to achieve quality, delivery, and cost improvement targets for Baxter manufacturing facilities.<br></li><li>Identifying vital processes, adhering to ethics and compliance: You will streamline workflows, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and seek efficient and effective ways of accomplishing work in a highly matrix and global organization.<br></li><li>Deploying best practices and transferring knowledge: You will share best practices within the team, supporting the continuous improvement of procurement and supply chain processes.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Who are we looking for?</strong><ul><li>Strong project manager with planning, and organizational skills: Proactive and self-driven with excellent project management abilities.<br></li><li>Hands-on experienced expert in Lean Thinking and Lean Tools: Proficient in implementing Lean methodologies and Kaizen.<br></li><li>Effective root cause problem-solver: Skilled at identifying and resolving underlying issues.<br></li><li>Knowledgeable in manufacturing, quality, regulatory compliance, supply chain, and supplier quality.<br></li><li>Expert in one or more discrete manufacturing operations, such as plastic molding, automated assembly, or electronics.<br></li><li>Technical problem-solver: Track record of using tools like 8D, 5 Whys, PDCA, DMAIC, and Six Sigma to enhance manufacturing processes.
