We are seeking an EMEA Procurement Supply Continuity Specialist to join our team at Baxter. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing suppliers, maintaining supply base quality, and driving continuous improvement across our procurement operations.<br><br><strong>What will you be doing?<br></strong><ul><li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Work closely with material planning, manufacturing, quality, R&D, and other teams to support the continuity of supply to manufacturing plants.<br></li><li>Supporting supplier performance monitoring: Assist in tracking and evaluating supplier performance metrics, such as quality, delivery, and service, and contribute to identifying areas for improvement.<br></li><li>Assisting in resolving supply issues: Provide support in addressing critical supplier quality or capacity issues, assisting with short-term issue containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and implementation.<br></li><li>Supporting supplier assessments: Assist in conducting assessments and audits to evaluate supplier capabilities, process controls.<br></li><li>Building relationships: Support in maintaining relationships with external suppliers/partners and internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and cross-functional problem-solving.<br></li><li>Assisting in continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance, ethics and sharing best practices within the team and organization.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Who are we looking for?<br></strong><ul><li>Problem-solver with analytical skills able to analyze situations, identify root causes, and support in implementing effective solutions.<br></li><li>Professional understanding procurement and supply chain processes with attention to detail and organizational skills.<br></li><li>Team player with effective communication and collaboration skills.<br></li><li>Proactive and self-driven person: Demonstrates initiative, and thrives in a dynamic environment.<br></li><li>Enthusiastic about supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to process optimization.<br></li><li>Strong personal accountability for results and integrity, eagerness to learn.<br></li><li>Bachelor’s degree or above.<br></li><li>Fluent English speaker.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>What do we offer:<br></strong><ul><li>Saturdays and Sundays off.<br></li><li>Separate insurance package.<br></li><li>Gym memberships.<br></li><li>Development opportunities and cross-site networking.<br></li><li>Flexible working hours.<br></li><li>Security on-site, parking garage, large cafeteria onsite.<br><br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Reasonable Accommodations<br><br></strong>Baxter is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
